The American flag is the nation’s most recognizable symbol. The flag is a way to celebrate freedom and show patriotism. In order to protect the integrity of the flag, many regulations, including how the flag is displayed, have been put into place by the government.

Project Overview:
Keeping Safety Top of Mind

In 2008, construction began on the
North Shore Ice Arena, in Northbrook, Illinois. The 45,000 square foot facility, anticipated 650,000 visitors during its inaugural year.

Nesko Electric, Inc. was contracted to install lighting and wiring for the entire facility including parking lot and perimeter lighting.

“Since this was an ice arena with visitors coming and going frequently during the evening, illuminating for safety was a top priority,” said John Winberg, project manager for Nesko Electric
